- TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Clerk: Weighbridge within the Timber division at Vryheid, KwaZulu-Natal.
Job Summary
- This role involves providing administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient running of the depot. The Clerk: Weighbridge is responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing documentation, coordinating stock and inventory activities, handling customer and supplier queries, capturing data, preparing reports, and assisting with daily depot operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain accurate depot records and documentation
- Capture stock movements and assist with inventory control
- Process deliveries, collections, and related paperwork
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal departments
- Handle general administration, data capturing, and email correspondence
- Assist with stock counts and reconciliations
- Ensure good housekeeping and compliance with company procedures
- Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of depot operations
Qualifications and Skills
- Matric / Grade 12
- Bilingual Afrikaans and English
- Trilingual English, Afrikaans & isiZulu advantageous
- Previous Transnet experience advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong housekeeping and general property maintenance skills, with the ability to maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Ability to effectively coordinate and oversee contractors, ensuring work is completed to the required standards, quality, and timelines
- Own reliable transport
- Reliable, responsible, and willing to work overtime when required
