- Responsible for general upkeep of Sibanye Property Assets in terms of construction work related to Civil work such as Plumbing, Carpentry, Masonry, and the like to ensure work meets all required standards and health and safety requirements.
Minimum Required Qualification
- Relevant recognized trade certificate
- At least 3 years' experience in a related role.
- NQF 4 National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults.
- Technical Trade.
The Appointee should
- Medically fit to work in the specific business area
- Clear security screening record.
- Valid driver's license .

Key Responsibilities
- Operation Inspecting construction work and comparing it with drawings and specifications. Referring to plans and taking photographs of work, along with measurements and samples Measuring and quality checking building material. Identifying defects and suggesting ways to correct them Liaising with contractors, engineers and surveyors and keeping detailed records of work Monitoring progress and reporting to Relative managers, architects and clients Checking that building regulations, health and safety, legal and ecological requirements are met Stakeholder Relations Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and externally at all levels and cross-functionally. Ensuring open communication channels with all relevant stakeholders. Sourcing, contracting and negotiating with service providers. Liaising with the necessary entities on any environmental management related requirements and alignment where applicable. Collaborating with external service providers regarding the design and implementation of tools to enhance processes. Building a values-based organisational culture Actively support and meaningfully participate in the execution of the segment specific organisational development plan. This support will manifest in the targeted shift in culture as described by a valid culture assessment. ESG Compliance Align to international responsible mining principles. SA Gold Operations: Align to World Gold Council WGC Responsible Gold Mining Principles RGMPs. SA PGM Operations: Enhance Together for Sustainability eTfS initiative. US PGM Operations: Enhance together for ICCM principles. SHE Compliance Maintain and comply with SHE standards within the work environment. Participate in risk assessments and investigate and take appropriate action as per identified risks. Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
