We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team at the Leisure & Adventure Parkview store. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient packing, preparation, and organization of products and materials for shipment or storage, as well as maintaining a clean and orderly store environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carefully place products onto shelves, ensuring proper arrangement and spacing.
- Inspecting products before packaging to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Count products to confirm accuracy and completeness of orders, adjusting as necessary.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by documenting quantities packed.
- Notify supervisors of discrepancies or shortages in stock to facilitate timely replenishment.
- Check for defects, damages, or inconsistencies in items, rejecting those that do not meet specifications.
- Ensure packaging materials are clean, undamaged, and appropriate for the products being packed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop, including cleaning equipment and disposing of packaging waste responsibly.
- Prepare packaging materials such as boxes, containers, or bags according to specified requirements•
- Accurately label packaged products with relevant information, including product names, barcodes, expiration dates, and batch numbers.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate packing activities and meet production targets.
- They strive for accuracy and consistency in their work to uphold the reputation of the company and satisfy customer expectations.
- Communicate effectively to address challenges, share best practices, and ensure smooth workflow.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Physical strength and stamina.
- A high school qualification or equivalent.
- Prior experience working in a retail environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
