About the role Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for General Cleaning duties. Duties & Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitize surfaces, floors, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, dust, and debris.
- Empty trash bins, replace liners and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
- Dust furniture, shelves, and other surfaces to remove dirt and allergens.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces using appropriate cleaning solutions.
- Report any shortages or maintenance issues.
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions or damage.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
- Follow instructions and guidelines for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Report any safety hazards, accidents, or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
Desired Experience & Qualification
About you
- National Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed)
- 0-1 Years experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in cleaning preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality in attendance and performance.
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Time management and ability to prioritize high-traffic areas
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
