CLEANER / GENERAL ASSISTANT

Premium Personnel is inviting applications for the position of Cleaner /General Assistant based at our active Workshop Premises. This vital role ensures our workshop remains completely safe , hazard-free, and organized to support daily operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Workshop Housekeeping: Sweep, mop and clean all workshop floors, common areas, and surronding yard premises daily.

• Spill and Hazard Control: Immediately clear away oil spills, grease, and fluid residues to prevent slipping hazards.

• Waste Management : Empty workshop rubbish bins regularly and safely discard waste and debris in designated exterior areas.

• Workshop Safety: Ensure all walkways , fire escapes and safety equipment zones remain completely unobstructed at all times.

• Tool and Equipment Care: Organize tools, clean workbenches, and assist with moving heavy parts or equipment when required.

• Hazard Reporting: Actively identify and report any structural defects or workplace hazards directly to management.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Minimum Grade 10 completed

• Proven experience as a Cleaner or General Assistant, ideally within an industrial workshop or manufacturinge enviroment.

• Physically fit and capable of handling manual labor, heavy lifting, bending and standing for long periods

• Basic understanding of chemical cleaning agents, workshop hazards and workplace hygiene protocols.

• Strong time management , ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and clear verbal communication skills
