Role Purpose Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and back-of-house areas, supporting the culinary team by keeping equipment, surfaces and storage areas spotless and compliant at all times. Key Responsibilities ▪ Wash and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans and crockery throughout service ▪ Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, floors, walls and equipment on a scheduled basis ▪ Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and bins are kept clean and emptied regularly ▪ Maintain cleanliness and organisation of storage, chiller and freezer areas ▪ Follow all UAE food safety, hygiene and HACCP cleaning procedures and schedules ▪ Report any maintenance issues, pest concerns or equipment faults promptly ▪ Restock cleaning supplies and consumables as needed ▪ Support the kitchen team with general back-of-house duties as required ▪ Assist with deep cleaning during scheduled shutdowns or off-peak periods Requirements Visa Status: Candidates must hold a transferable UAE residency visa. Experience: Previous cleaning or kitchen steward experience preferred, ideally within a hotel, restaurant or high-volume kitchen environment. Skills & Competencies: Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures, ability to work efficiently under time pressure, basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
