- Develop detailed civil engineering designs for infrastructure projects
- Prepare engineering calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings
- Design and model civil infrastructure using AutoCAD Civil 3D and iDAS
- Collect and analyse engineering data to support design development
- Apply BIM principles and digital engineering workflows to project designs
- Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate and coordinated designs
- Ensure designs and documentation meet project requirements and quality standards
- Utilise engineering software to solve complex design problems
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years' relevant civil engineering design experience
- Experience with bulk earthworks, roads, stormwater, sewer, and water reticulation
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and iDAS
- Knowledge of BIM and engineering design software
- Water and wastewater treatment plant design experience advantageous
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-driven, proactive, and client-focused
Qualification
• BSc / BEng Civil Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent • ECSA registration advantageous • If not currently registered with ECSA, a registration timeline must be agreed Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
