The Role You will be involved in the management, performance and ongoing development of key infrastructure, including roads, stormwater, water, sewer, bulk services and underground services , while coordinating with specialist providers responsible for electrical, fibre and telecommunications infrastructure.

Responsibilities will include

  • Overseeing the performance and maintenance of civil infrastructure
  • Coordinating infrastructure and utility connections for new developments
  • Monitoring construction activities and ensuring existing infrastructure and underground services are protected
  • Liaising with developers, consulting engineers, contractors and specialist service providers
  • Coordinating contractors and monitoring quality, progress and service delivery
  • Supporting proactive infrastructure maintenance, asset management and renewal programmes
  • Assisting with infrastructure budgets, planning and reporting
  • Coordinating with electrical, fibre, telecommunications and other specialist infrastructure providers
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and high standard of the wider development environment

What Were Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Civil Engineering Technology • 3+ years relevant experience • Experience within land development, civil infrastructure, consulting engineering or civil construction • Practical exposure to several of the following: roads, bulk earthworks, stormwater, sewer, water reticulation, underground services and bulk infrastructure • Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and site execution • Experience coordinating contractors, consultants and/or multidisciplinary project teams • Strong technical problem-solving ability • Good communication and stakeholder management skills • A practical, proactive approach and willingness to work on site • Valid drivers licence Exposure to Civil 3D, contract administration, project budgets, infrastructure maintenance and multidisciplinary engineering projects would be advantageous.
