- RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Civil Draughtsperson to join their Richards Bay office.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and models using Civil Designer.
- Produce drawings for roads, stormwater, water and sewer infrastructure, and bulk earthworks projects.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, applicable standards and client requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams to produce accurate and timely design documentation.
- Revise and update drawings based on engineering design changes and client comments.
- Maintain drawing registers and project documentation.
- Assist with the delivery of high-quality design documentation within project deadlines.
Requirements
- Relevant Draughting qualification.
- 5–10 years' experience in civil draughting and modelling.
- Extensive experience in the design and draughting of roads, stormwater systems, water and sewer infrastructure, bulk earthworks
- Proficient in Civil Designer and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
