Our client, a well-established professional accounting and advisory firm based in Lynwood, Pretoria, is seeking an experienced CIPC Administrator to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of company secretarial administration, CIPC compliance, Beneficial Ownership submissions, trust administration, and maintaining statutory records. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong knowledge of the Companies Act, and the ability to manage multiple client portfolios while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
CIPC Administration
- Register new companies.
- Process director appointments and resignations.
- Manage company name changes and registered address changes.
- Prepare and submit MOI amendments.
- Process share allotments and share transfers.
- Submit Annual Returns.
- Handle company reinstatements and deregistrations.
- Maintain accurate company records.
Beneficial Ownership
- Submit and maintain Beneficial Ownership information with CIPC.
- Verify ownership structures.
- Maintain shareholder registers.
- Identify and record Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs).
Company Secretarial Services
- Prepare director and shareholder resolutions.
- Draft shareholder agreements.
- Maintain statutory registers.
- Submit statutory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act.
Trust Administration
- Process trustee and beneficiary amendments.
- Prepare and lodge trust amendments with the Master's Office.
- Obtain Letters of Authority.
- Maintain confidential trust documentation.
Client Support
- Liaise professionally with clients.
- Obtain and verify FICA documentation.
- Follow up on outstanding documentation.
- Assist clients with regulatory and compliance queries.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
- Matric (Essential)
- Diploma or Certificate in one of the following:
- Legal Administration
- Paralegal Studies
- Company Secretarial Practice
- Corporate Governance
- BCom Law or related qualification will be advantageous.
Experience
- 2–5 years' experience in:
- CIPC Administration
- Company Secretarial Administration
- Trust Administration
- Accounting or Legal Practice
Technical Skills
- CIPC eServices
- BizPortal
- Beneficial Ownership submissions
- Companies Act compliance
- Microsoft Office Suite
Package & Remuneration
R15 000.00 to R25 000.00 ctc per month depending on experience
