Chief Information Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the regional Digital & IT strategy in alignment with the broader Group technology agenda. • Lead digital transformation initiatives and ensure successful implementation of global technology programmes across the region. • Partner with senior business leaders to identify technology opportunities and deliver solutions that support growth and operational efficiency. • Drive the adoption of data, AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve decision-making and business performance. • Oversee IT operations, cybersecurity, data privacy, governance, risk management and business continuity. • Manage the regional IT roadmap, ensuring projects are delivered effectively, on time and within agreed budgets. • Oversee IT budgets, resources, vendors and service delivery, driving efficiency and continuous improvement. • Support business growth, including mergers and acquisitions, through technology due diligence and integration. • Build, develop and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering innovation, collaboration and continuous learning. • Establish strong relationships with Group leadership, business units, technology partners and key external stakeholders. Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related discipline . An MBA or advanced qualification would be advantageous. • 810+ years senior IT leadership experience , ideally within a multinational or complex organisation. • Proven experience in IT strategy, digital transformation and technology operations . • Strong knowledge of data strategy, AI, cybersecurity and emerging technologies . • Demonstrated experience managing significant IT budgets, projects and technology teams. • Strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to translate technology into measurable business outcomes. • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills. • Experience working across multicultural, geographically diverse and matrix environments. • Strategic, decisive and adaptable leadership style, with a strong focus on people development and innovation.
