This is an opportunity to join a sophisticated, multinational insurance environment, working alongside experienced finance, actuarial, risk and executive teams while contributing to both local and broader group objectives. This is a high-impact position responsible for the full spectrum of financial, regulatory and operational finance, with significant exposure to IFRS 17, ORSA, Prudential Authority reporting, US GAAP, SOX and Board-level reporting. Duties: Leading financial reporting, statutory accounts and IFRS 17 Overseeing Prudential Authority and SARS regulatory submissions Leading the annual ORSA process and solvency analysis Driving planning, forecasting and management reporting Maintaining a strong internal control and SOX environment Managing treasury, cash flow, payroll and credit control Partnering with actuarial, risk, audit and Group Finance teams Providing financial, regulatory and risk insights to the Board and Audit & Risk Committee Managing relationships with credit rating agencies and supporting the company's capital and rating strategy Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Accounting BCom Honours / CTA CA(SA) Experience: 10 / 15 years in senior finance roles Strong insurance industry experience – essential Senior leadership experience within an insurance finance environment Strong IFRS knowledge, including IFRS 17 Experience with ORSA, solvency analysis and regulatory reporting Exposure to US GAAP and SOX controls Strong understanding of South African regulatory requirements, including the Prudential Authority and SARS Proven Board, auditor, actuarial and stakeholder engagement experience Skills & Competencies: Financial Leadership & Strategy Insurance Finance IFRS 17 ORSA & Solvency Management Regulatory & Statutory Reporting US GAAP & SOX Controls Risk Management & Governance Financial Planning & Forecasting Board & Executive Stakeholder Management Audit & Assurance Management If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
