Minimum Requirements

• CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable). • MBA (non-negotiable). • Minimum 15 years' executive leadership experience, with at least 8 years in a senior executive or C-suite role. • Proven experience within the oil and gas industry is essential. • Extensive board and corporate governance experience. • Demonstrated success in scaling an energy business or delivering significant commercial growth within the energy sector. • Strong understanding of the South African energy landscape and regulatory environment. • Exceptional strategic, financial, and operational leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's long-term strategic vision and growth agenda. • Provide inspirational leadership to the executive team and broader organisation. • Drive commercial performance, profitability, and sustainable business growth. • Identify new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities. • Lead business transformation, operational excellence, and organisational performance. • Foster strong relationships with shareholders, investors, regulators, customers, and key industry stakeholders. • Report directly to the Board and provide strategic guidance on business performance and future opportunities. • Ensure effective corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. • Lead capital allocation, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic investment initiatives where applicable. • Champion innovation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across the business. • Build and develop a high-performing executive leadership team while cultivating a culture of accountability and excellence. • Represent the organisation at industry forums, government engagements, and investor meetings.
