Are you a recently qualified Chemical Engineering graduate looking for an opportunity to apply your knowledge in a practical manufacturing environment? Solvpac a division of Pailpac is looking for a motivated and analytical Graduate Chemical Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or currently unemployed graduate to gain hands on experience across research and development, product testing, process improvement and manufacturing implementation. Duties & Responsibilities
As part of our technical and operations team, you will be involved in the end to end development and implementation of new products and process improvements.
You will work closely with production, quality and technical teams to translate research findings into practical manufacturing solutions.
Projects may include
- Material and product testing
- Evaluating and testing barrier properties of packaging products
- Researching and validating new packaging solutions and components
- Conducting trials and performance testing
- Recording and analysing test results
- Preparing technical reports and recommendations
- Assisting with product development and innovation projects
- Supporting the implementation of successful products and processes into production
- Working with operations teams to ensure successful plant integration and ongoing performance
