- Operate the reach truck safely and efficiently to move, lift, stack, and retrieve stock within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-use inspections of the reach truck and report any defects or maintenance issues.
- Check incoming and outgoing stock against invoices, delivery notes, picking slips, and other relevant documentation.
- Verify product descriptions, quantities, batch numbers, and labels to ensure stock accuracy.
- Inspect goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Assist with loading, offloading, and transferring stock between designated warehouse areas.
- Ensure stock is stored in the correct locations and that warehouse inventory records are accurate.
- Perform stock counting and assist with stocktaking when required.
- Ensure orders are picked, checked, and prepared accurately for dispatch.
- Maintain proper stock rotation and follow the required stock-handling procedures.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure that the work area remains clean and organised.
- Handle stock carefully to prevent damage and minimise losses.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other team members.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Reach Truck Operator Certificate.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience operating a Reach Truck.
- Previous warehouse / FMCG experience advantageous.
- Experience working with racking systems and palletised stock.
