- The Change Enablement Specialist is a subject matter expert in change management, responsible for strengthening and evolving the Change Enablement capability across Global IT. The role designs, delivers and continuously improves digital and blended learning solutions that build practical change capability and address skills gaps across IT programmes, regional change teams and change networks.
- Working closely with Change Leads, Regional Change Managers and transformation teams, the Change Enablement Specialist ensures our Change Management framework, tools and learning interventions translate into effective implementation, stronger adoption and measurable business outcomes.
- The role combines change management expertise, learning and capability development, and data-driven continuous improvement to help build a consistent, scalable and industry-leading approach to Change Enablement.
Key Responsibilities Change Management Subject Matter Expertise
- Act as a Change Management SME, providing practical expertise, guidance and recommendations to Change Leads, Regional Change Managers and programme teams.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the Global IT Change Management approach, framework, methodologies and tools, supporting their consistent and effective application.
- Identify opportunities to improve change management practices based on business needs, programme experience, emerging trends and best practice.
- Anticipate evolving transformation and adoption needs and recommend new approaches, tools and interventions to strengthen Change Enablement effectiveness.
Change Capability & Learning
- Design, develop and deliver digital, virtual and blended learning solutions that build change management capability across the organisation.
- Identify capability gaps and translate them into practical learning journeys, resources, toolkits and interventions.
- Develop learning that enables people to apply change management effectively in real transformation scenarios, rather than focusing solely on theoretical knowledge.
- Own and evolve Change Enablement learning content to ensure it remains relevant, practical and aligned with the needs of the business.
Regional & Change Network Capability
- Partner with Regional Change Managers to strengthen the capability of regional Change Networks and support effective local delivery and adoption.
- Develop scalable learning and enablement programmes for Change Makers, Change Agents, Business Champions and other change communities.
- Provide Regional Change Managers with tools, materials and guidance that can be adapted to regional and business needs.
- Help create an active community of change practitioners that shares knowledge, experience and best practice across the organisation.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Define and monitor measures to evaluate the effectiveness of learning and capability interventions.
- Use data, adoption insights, participant feedback and programme outcomes to assess impact on engagement, readiness, adoption and business value.
- Establish feedback loops that turn lessons learned from programmes and regional teams into improvements to frameworks, learning and tools.
- Experiment with new approaches and technologies to improve how change capability is developed and scaled.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the Change Enablement team based on evidence and emerging needs.
Innovation & Future Capability
- Foster a culture of curiosity, experimentation and continuous learning across the Change Enablement community.
- Monitor emerging change management practices, digital learning approaches and technology trends, including AI-enabled opportunities.
- Translate relevant external best practice into practical improvements for the Global IT Change Enablement approach.
- Contribute to building a consistent, scalable and industry-leading enterprise change capability that supports successful IT transformation.
What You'll Bring - Skills & Attributes
- Strong expertise in organisational change management and practical application of change methodologies.
- Experience designing and delivering learning, capability-building or practitioner development programmes.
- Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement, business readiness, adoption and behavioural change.
- Ability to translate complex change concepts into simple, practical and engaging learning experiences.
- Analytical mindset and confidence using data and feedback to evaluate effectiveness and drive improvement.
- Strong facilitation, communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Curious and innovative mindset, with a willingness to experiment and challenge established approaches.
- Ability to operate effectively across a complex, global and matrixed organisation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in Change Management, Change Enablement, Organisational Development or a related field.
- Practical experience supporting large-scale technology or business transformation.
- Experience designing digital, virtual and/or blended learning solutions.
- Experience developing change capability across distributed teams, communities or change networks.
- Experience measuring learning effectiveness, adoption or change outcomes.
- Prosci, APMG Change Management or equivalent change management qualification preferred.
