Cellphone Sales Representative

Introduction

Our client based in Sandton is looking for a Cellphone Sales Rep

Duties & Responsibilities

• Sell mobile phones, mobile contracts, accessories, airtime, data bundles, fibre solutions, and value-added services.

• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and service packages.

• Generate new business opportunities through proactive lead generation and customer referrals.

• Achieve and exceed monthly individual and store sales targets.

• Cross-sell and upsell products to maximise revenue per customer.

• Keep up to date with new handset launches, promotions, pricing, and network offerings.

• Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale.

• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

• Assist customers with handset setup, SIM activations, upgrades, and basic troubleshooting.

• Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently while maintaining a professional approach.

• Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention levels.

• Process sales accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) and CRM systems.

• Capture customer information correctly and ensure compliance with company procedures.

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities within the CRM.

• Assist with stock control, merchandising, and inventory counts.

• Ensure displays are clean, organised, and aligned with company standards

Desired Experience & Qualification

• National Diploma (Minimum Requirement).

• 1–3 years' proven experience in telecommunications or cellphone retail sales.

• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

• Experience selling mobile contracts, smartphones, fibre, accessories, or telecommunications products.

• Computer literate with CRM system proficiency.

• Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.

• Reliable transport to Sandton.

Package & Remuneration

R7000 CTC Per Month
