- A vacancy exists for CCTV Controller/Investigator for the Midrand FSS Branch in Midrand reporting to both the duty manager and site manager. The main purpose of the position is to provide co-ordination, surveillance and business operational support to the Operations Manager.
Experience, Requirements and Qualifications
- A formal relevant qualification would be advantageous.
- Previous investigation experience is essential.
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of security procedures, access control systems, and incident management will be advantageous.
- Own reliable transport with a valid driver's license.
- Willingness and readiness to travel when required.
- Valid passport.
- Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and the internet.
- No criminal record or any pending cases.
- Has a good command of the English language.
- Understanding of the FSG environment would be advantageous.
- Experience and Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

- Interviewing employees relevant to each case under investigation.
- Conduct security investigations and compile detailed incident and investigation reports.
- Experienced in operating and monitoring CCTV surveillance systems.
- Ability to review, analyze, and extract CCTV footage for investigation purposes.
- Gather all relevant evidence in a legal manner.
- Work well with other role players like SAPS, FSG Legal department, claims department, people who conduct polygraphs, etc.
- Responsible for ensuring investigation reports are accurate and supported by evidence.
- Attend to and investigate client complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain CCTV records, evidence, and investigation files.
- Prepare professional reports and submit findings to management and clients.
- Responsible for Filing, and Archiving.
- Quality of own work.
- Ensuring that investigations are completed within deadlines.
- Supervise CCTV operators and ensure compliance with company procedures and client requirements.
- Investigate security incidents, theft, misconduct, and other reported occurrences using CCTV footage.
- Responsible for the integrity of reporting.
- Ensure all information is filed, updated and readily available as required.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- Monitor CCTV systems and ensure continuous surveillance coverage.
- Must reside in Midrand or Pretoria
