Requirements
- B.SC Agriculture or B Agriculture Degree
- Experience in Cattle Farming
- Experience in farm maintenance
- Computer literate
- Ability to motivate and work with staff
- Strong communication skills
- Good planning and organizational skills
Duties and responsibilities
- Day-to-day running and management of the cattle in your Section
- Stay up to date on industry trends and technical knowledge
- Understand nutritional requirements for livestock
- Receive, inspect and transfer livestock
- Assist in accurate recordkeeping of livestock activities
- Influence a positive workforce environment by following safety policies and modelling safe work practices
- Follow safety and health standards
- Any other duties that may be delegated by line management with the purpose of meeting the feedlot objectives.
