- Process Payments: Efficiently scan items and accurately handle cash, card, and digital transactions.
- Customer Excellence: Greet customers warmly and answer basic queries regarding store promotions or pricing.
- Till Management: Issue accurate receipts, invoices, and process authorized returns/exchanges.
- Administration: Assist with basic daily cash-ups, float balancing, and front-counter cleanliness.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Education: Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months’ retail cashier or Point of Sale (POS) experience is highly advantageous (training will be provided for candidates showing great potential).
- Skills: Sound numerical skills and basic computer literacy.
- Languages: Strong command of the English language; fluency in Afrikaans or isiXhosa is a distinct advantage.
- Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work retail hours, including rotating weekends and public holidays.
- Traits: Dependable, honest, clear criminal record, and an immaculate, presentable appearance.
