Unicare is looking for Cashiers to join the Front Shop Team. This role will be based in the 24Hr Pharmacy in Bellville, Cape Town. Duties & Responsibilities
Job Objectives
• To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner. • To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for goods purchased, including actioning clubcard rewards. • To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times. • To make customers aware of promotions in order to positively affect sales. • To deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible and offering a friendly and professional service. • To maintain updated knowledge on products, ranges, promotions and events in order to provide the correct information to customers at all times. • Follow cash up procedures Key responsibilities:
- Cleans designated areas of the Pharmacy by dusting, sweeping, mopping and scrubbing if necessary
- Clears all obstacles from the common areas to ensure consistent safety protocols and procedures are adhered to
- Performs and documents routine inspections of the allocated areas
- Conducts deep cleaning on all specified area
- Maintaining the hygiene standard of the Pharmacy
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum requirements
• Essential: Grade 12 • Desirable: Math 50% and English 50% Experiance:
- Desirable experiance in a customer facing role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment
Job related knownledge and skill
• Basic math calculations • Retail/FMCG background • Knowledge of customers service excellence • Good communication skills • Computer literacy • Numeracy skills Competencies: Essential:

Working Times: Ps. This role is expected to work shifts between 4pm and 11pm on weekdays and 7am to 11pm on weekends,according to the roster.
