  • RCL FOODS is on the hunt for a Cashier to join our Commercial team in Rustenburg.
  • The successful incumbent will be responsible for receiving and depositing cash deposits, recording cash and ensuring security of the cash.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics
  • Must reside in or around Rustenburg
  • Previous experience working in a similar role or environment is advantageous cash office/banking

Duties & Responsibilities Cash deposits

  • Receive all cash deposits from drivers.
  • Make up bank.

Cash

  • Count cash received from drivers and balance with deposit slip.
  • Record cash and cheques in cashup summary.
  • Prepare deposit for bank.
  • Record seal numbers in register.

Security

  • Keep the cash office door locked at all times.
  • No authorised person allowed.
  • Lock cash in safe overnight.
  • Previous days taking to be removed from premises by 11:00 am next day.
