- An appropriate level of Secondary education – NQF Level 4; Proficiency in MS Office application & E - Natis System experience.; Excellent analytic and problem-solving ability; High level of integrity, responsibility and confidentiality; Have ability to give attention to detail and be able to work under pressure; Report writing; Communication Skills; Ability to deal with conflict situations; Excellent Negotiation skills.
Duties
- To receives payment against services rendered from the Public; Calculating balances and explaining transactional recordings and penalties applicable and/or providing information; Collects and counts payment tendered verifying total against amount due and/ or seeking identification, check recording and processes payments; Issuing receipt reflecting amount tendered and confirms recording with the customer; Balancing of Face value documents; Attaching duplicate receipts and deposit slips to schedules and maintain a chronological filing sequence; Preparing a daily cashiers statement and submitting a monthly report and Maintaining security measures on all monies and documentation. To maintains documentation and records of transactions and procedures; Accessing/ retrieving information and records to facilitate resolution of specific enquiries; Issuing of licenses, renewals and PRDP applications in terms of National Road Traffic Act, 93 of 96; Verifying all documentation e.g. license card collection, general information; Conducting registration and licensing of new motor vehicles, certifying copy of owners identity document, manufacturers Supply note, verifying that relevant sections of the RLV is completed and signed by owner, verifying relevant section in terms of bank financed vehicles i.e. proxy of bank has signed the relevant section, and that a valid COF for heavy vehicles and public transport vehicles has been issued; Conducting registration and licensing of second hand vehicles through certifying of owners identity document and registration certificate, verifying that RLV and NCO forms have been completed and signed by the owner/ proxy of bank where financed and, verifying roadworthy certificate to ensure that vehicles older than six months have undergone a roadworthy test; Processing of registration certificates for official vehicles Government Departments and Local Authorities, Repossessed vehicles, late estate, stolen and recovered vehicles, built-up motor vehicles and ensuring that the correct procedures are followed; Accessing/ retrieving information and records to facilitate resolution of specific enquiries e.g. issuing of duplicate documents, renewal notices/ lost license discs and Processing applications for personalized numbers, dealer's license, change of addresses and particulars, etc. Updating the eNaTIS information.
