Our client, a leading investment management firm, is seeking a commercially astute Senior Investment Analyst to join its high-performing investment team in Cape Town.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a CA(SA) or CFA with at least 5 years' post-articles experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, private credit or alternative investments.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and execute investment opportunities.
- Perform financial modelling, valuation and investment due diligence.
- Support transaction execution and portfolio management.
- Prepare investment committee papers and presentations.
- Conduct market research and identify emerging investment opportunities.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- CA(SA) or CFA qualification.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in finance, economics or statistics
- 5+ years' relevant experience within the alternative Investments, corporate finance/ private debt/ banking/ private equity sectors
- Strong private credit and private equity valuation skills
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Based in the Southern suburbs, Cape Town
Package & Remuneration
R60 000p/m negotiable commensurate with experience
