Audit Centre of Excellence CoE Offered in JHB, DBN & CPT
- Are you ready to kickstart your career in auditing with a dynamic and diverse team? Join our Audit Centre of Excellence CoE and gain unparalleled experience working with clients across various industries, including banking, insurance, entertainment, manufacturing, mining, and more.
- About the Role:
- As a member of our Audit CoE, you will work on a wide range of clients, from large listed companies to small, privately owned businesses, all within the firm. You will be involved in five key sections of each audit: Bank and Cash, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Property, Plant and Equipment, and Payroll. Our strategy focuses on centralising, standardising, and automating testing to ensure efficiency and consistency across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits on various clients across Africa, working both in-office and remotely.
- Collaborate with audit teams and other lines of service during secondments.
- Engage with clients virtually through calls, emails, and systems and in person during secondments.
- Work closely with a CoE manager and a team of three or four people each month.
- Obtain all required competencies to be signed off for SAICA purposes after three years.
Our Team
- We are a virtual team, with the flexibility to work from the office and from home. You will be seconded to audit teams for three to four months each year, during which you will interact with clients in person. Independent Review Center of Excellence IR COE offered in JHB

- About the Role:
- As a trainee in our IR CoE team, you will be part of a vibrant and supportive environment. Your training contract will span three years, during which you will achieve SAICA competencies and sign off at the end of 2029. This opportunity and the resulting sign off is equivalent to any other audit division within PwC, ensuring you receive comprehensive training and development.

Team Structure and Location
- We are a virtual team with staff members across South Africa
- Trainees are based at either the GQ, WC or Waterfall office
- Our team works remotely but goes into the office twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays. In addition to this, we may also visit client sites for onsite engagements.
- We provide specialist services to engagement teams, supplementing their team to complete the audit

- Our team specializes in: Retirement funds, medical schemes, insurance, and asset wealth management

Requirements
- Must have completed your undergraduate degree in record time.
- Be in your first attempt of CTA/PGDA or have passed CTA/PGDA.
- Be willing to complete a three-year employment contract for SAICA articles in the Audit Centre of Excellence CoE / Independent Review Center of Excellence IR COE / Virtual Financial Services Remote Team Member Programme VFS team.
- If you fail CTA, you must be willing to repeat and complete it simultaneously through distance learning, while working through your first year of articles.
