Start free — we apply for you →- We're looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our Facilities team. You will be responsible for carpentry repairs, maintenance, and general handyman work to ensure the site is well-maintained, safe, and compliant.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry work: doors, cabinetry, skirting, windows, wooden floors.
- Carry out general maintenance: ceilings, painting, minor building repairs, locking mechanisms.
- Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance and respond to reactive calls.
- Submit job cards, keep work areas clean, and maintain tools.
- Follow OHS and TFS SHEQ standards.
Skills and Competencies
- Reliable, presentable, service-oriented, and able to manage own workload.
- Friendly, polite, and professional when dealing with customers.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Carpentry
- Trade Test.
- 3 years' carpentry/maintenance experience.
- General handyman skills basic plumbing, building, metalwork.
- Good communication, customer service, and ability to work independently.
