Start free — we apply for you →- This position requires a Grade 10 Job Specific Qualification, or equivalent qualification at NQF 2 with 3 years' relevant experience or Grade 12, Job Specific Qualification, or equivalent qualification at NQF 4, with two 2 years' experience in the relevant field of infrastructure maintenance and/or solid waste collection. A Higher Education Qualification or equivalent qualification at NQF 5 will be an added advantage.
- The following competencies are required for the candidate to be successful in this position: interpersonal skills; ability to communicate in English read and write; willingness to learn and take instruction, ability to working in a team and independently, training in brick laying and painting; knowledge of solid waste collection, sorting and disposal; use of various hand tools, equipment and machinery. The possession of a valid code C1 driver's licence with at least one-year practical driving experience.
Key Performance Responsibilities include
- Assist in operational functions, and projects;
- Assist in the completion of generalist tasks;
- Assist in Administration and;
- Comply with health and safety requirements.
