Start free — we apply for you →Job Title: Camp Manager Start Date: 2026-08-28 - 2026-09-30 Vacancy Type: Permanent WDH002527 Sectors: Management Location: Limpopo , Bela Bela Salary: (Market related) Brief: camp manager|limpopo|safari villa An exclusive-use luxury safari villa is seeking an experienced, mature CAMP MANAGER to take full operational ownership of this intimate property Detail: This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on hosting discerning guests personally, from arrival through to departure, while confidently managing a small team across every department. The ideal candidate has led a similarly exclusive, high-end villa or lodge operation and is equally comfortable behind the scenes on admin and stock as they are at the table with guests. Core Criteria: 5+ years' experience as a Camp Manager, Lodge Manager, Assistant General Manager or similar in a senior hospitality leadership role Background in a luxury safari lodge, private villa or five-star hospitality environment is essential Sound understanding of stock control, beverage management, curio/retail sales and basic financial administration Experience overseeing housekeeping standards, room inspections and maintenance follow-through Valid driver's licence and confident driving within a safari/lodge setting Strong people-management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and hold a team accountable Confident hosting high-end guests personally across meals, drinks, activities and special occasions Strong administrative and reporting ability, with sound computer literacy Mature, well-presented and professional, with a natural, anticipatory approach to guest care Able to work independently, remain composed under pressure and take full ownership of the operation Contactable references from at least three previous employers required Core Responsibilities: Take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the property Personally oversee guest arrivals, meals, departures and special occasions Lead, motivate and manage the on-site team, including daily briefings and performance oversight Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces Oversee food and beverage service standards, working closely with the kitchen and service teams Manage stock control, ordering, stocktakes and beverage/retail sales, minimising wastage Monitor and follow up on maintenance requirements with the relevant teams Drive upselling across beverages, activities and curio/retail Complete accurate daily, weekly and monthly operational reports Ensure health, safety, hygiene and security standards are consistently upheld Liaise with senior management on all operational requirements On Offer: Single live-in position, with accommodation and meals provided on the property Compulsory provident fund contribution 7 consecutive days off per month 21 consecutive days annual leave per year show more...
