C# Developer

Our client is looking for a C# Developer to help build, enhance, and maintain software applications. The successful candidate will contribute to the full development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and writing code to testing, troubleshooting, and supporting deployed solutions. This opportunity is suitable for a junior to intermediate developer looking to grow their .NET development skills.

Education

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred

• Honours degree advantageous

• Relevant Microsoft or .NET certifications advantageous

Experience

• Junior to intermediate experience in C# or .NET development

• Experience building, supporting, or maintaining software applications

• Exposure to databases and API integrations

• Experience using source control and working within a development team advantageous

Key Requirements

• Good understanding of C# and object-oriented programming

• Exposure to .NET or .NET Core / .NET  (modern .NET)

• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases

• Understanding of REST APIs and application integration

• Familiarity with Git and software development best practices

• Ability to troubleshoot issues and debug code

• Understanding of unit testing and code quality practices advantageous

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
