Our client in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is hiring a Buyer / Warehouse Manager! Duties & Responsibilities
Description: Our client, an established electrical company, is looking for an experienced Buyer / Warehouse Manager to take care of purchasing and the day-to-day running of the warehouse. This role suits someone with a strong electrical background who is comfortable working with suppliers and keeping stock moving efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Source and purchase electrical stock and materials from suppliers
- Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with suppliers
- Manage stock levels and ensure the warehouse is well stocked
- Oversee the daily running of the warehouse, including receiving and dispatch
- Maintain accurate stock and purchasing records
- Work closely with the sales team to meet stock requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in the electrical field, working directly in the sales/buying department
- Proven purchasing experience within electrical distribution, supplier or manufacturing environments
- Valid driver’s license
- Matric
