- Develop and build commercially successful seasonal product ranges
- Research local and international fashion trends and competitor activity
- Source and develop innovative products aligned with customer needs
- Analyse sales, margins, stock performance and retail KPIs to maximise profitability
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve target costs, quality and delivery
- Manage the product development process from concept to delivery
- Work closely with Planning, QA, Marketing and other departments to ensure successful product launches
- Conduct market research and translate customer insights into winning product ranges
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Buyer within a fashion retail environment
- Proven product development and range-building experience
- Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills
- Experience managing sales, margins and stock performance
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills
Relevant qualification in Fashion, Retail Buying, Merchandising or similar advantageous
