- We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Blockman to join our team in Lanseria, Gauteng. This role involves meat preparation, cutting, packaging, and customer service in a fast-paced butchery environment. If you have experience in meat cutting and good customer service skills, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Cut, trim and prepare various meat products according to required specifications.
- Weigh, portion, package and label meat products accurately.
- Ensure proper display and presentation of meat products.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the butchery area.
- Follow food safety and health regulations at all times.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Blockman/Butchery Assistant is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to operate basic butchery equipment safely.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
