Introduction

The Business Intelligence & Analytics Analyst will be responsible for transforming data into meaningful business insights that enable informed decision-making across WinField United SA and its subsidiaries.

The successful incumbent will develop and maintain business intelligence solutions, dashboards and reporting platforms, analyses trends and business performance, and partner with leaders across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, HR and Executive Management to improve business performance through data-driven decision-making.

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve business intelligence dashboards, reports and KPI scorecards using Power BI to provide accurate, timely and actionable information for operational, tactical and strategic decision-making across the WinField United Group.
  • Analyse business data to identify trends, opportunities, risks and performance drivers across sales, finance, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, inventory and human resources, providing management with meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, governance and consistency of business data by maintaining data quality standards, validating information and integrating data from multiple business systems, including ERP, CRM, HRIS and financial platforms.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand reporting requirements, translate business needs into analytical solutions, develop customised dashboards and support strategic planning and continuous business improvement initiatives.
  • Design and maintain efficient data integration and automation processes that streamline reporting, reduce manual effort and improve the accessibility and reliability of business information.
  • Monitor and report on key business performance indicators, enabling management to measure organisational performance against strategic objectives and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Drive the continuous enhancement of the organisation's business intelligence capability by improving reporting efficiency, adopting new analytical tools and technologies, promoting data-driven decision-making and increasing the maturity of business analytics across the Group.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in

  • Data Analytics
  • Computer Science
  • Information Systems
  • Statistics
  • Business Analytics
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Mathematics
  • Finance (with strong analytics experience)
  • A postgraduate qualification in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence will be advantageous.

Experience

  • 3–5 years' experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards.
  • Experience working with SQL databases.
  • Experience analysing business performance.
  • Experience supporting business leaders through data analytics.
  • Experience in agriculture, manufacturing or FMCG will be advantageous.
