The primary focus of this role is capital raising. The successful candidate will identify, engage and convert investors and distribution partners, including HNWIs, IFAs, wealth managers and tax practitioners. Detail: Key Responsibilities Drive the end-to-end capital raising process and achieve agreed fundraising targets. Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective investors and intermediaries. Identify, engage and convert new investors and distribution partners. Present investment opportunities through meetings, presentations, events and roadshows. Build and maintain strong relationships with HNWIs, IFAs and wealth managers. Manage the investor journey from initial enquiry through to commitment, FICA, subscription and funding. Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline records and provide regular fundraising reports. Develop the direct-to-investor acquisition channel. Prepare investor presentations, pitch materials and fund information. Act as a key point of contact for investors and proactively manage investor relationships. Requirements 3–7 years' experience in financial services, asset management, wealth management, private equity, investment banking or a fund environment. Proven track record in capital raising, investment sales, business development or investor acquisition. Strong existing network of HNWIs, IFAs or wealth managers would be highly advantageous. Direct investor/client-facing experience. BCom or equivalent qualification in Finance, Investments, Accounting or a related field. Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills. Strong commercial acumen and ability to convert opportunities into investment. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
