Business Development Representative (B2B Services | Mining, Construction & Petrochemical)

Our client is looking for a driven Business Development Representative to join their team and play a key role in growing their client base and securing new business.

This opportunity is ideal for a B2B sales professional with 3 to 5 years’ experience selling services , particularly into the mining, construction, industrial or engineering sectors. Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Business Development, Sales or a similar role
• Proven track record in new business development and achieving sales targets
• Experience selling services rather than physical products
• Previous experience selling into mining, construction, industrial or engineering sectors
• Strong cold calling, lead generation and relationship-building skills
• Experience preparing proposals and negotiating commercial agreements
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Good CRM and pipeline management experience
• Commercially driven and proactive
• Valid driver’s licence, own vehicle and willingness to travel

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
• Prospect, cold call and generate new leads
• Build relationships with key decision-makers
• Prepare proposals and tailored service solutions
• Negotiate and close new business
• Develop existing client relationships and identify opportunities for growth
• Monitor market and competitor activity
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
