We're partnering with a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation seeking an experienced Business Development (Capital) Process Engineer to take ownership of technical business development initiatives across the mining and mineral processing sectors. This is an opportunity to influence strategic growth, lead high-level client engagements, and drive process innovation from concept through to commissioning. Duties & Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead technical business development activities and identify new market opportunities.

• Develop and present engineering solutions, proposals, and commercial strategies to clients.

• Drive process design activities including mass and energy balances, process flow diagrams, and technical evaluations.

• Support projects throughout the lifecycle, from concept development and tender stages to commissioning and performance optimisation.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders across the mining and processing industries.

• Lead multidisciplinary technical teams while mentoring and developing engineering talent.

• Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and best-practice engineering standards.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline.

• Proven experience within mining, mineral processing, OEM, or engineering project environments.

• Strong exposure to hydrometallurgy, comminution, flotation, beneficiation, thickening, filtration, or tailings handling.

• Experience with process simulation tools such as METSIM, HSC Chemistry, ASPEN Plus, or similar platforms.

• Demonstrated success in business development, technical sales, or client-facing engineering roles.

• Leadership experience with the ability to inspire high-performing teams.

• A commercially minded engineer who can translate technical capability into business success.
