Start free — we apply for you →ARG Cleaning Solutions is looking for an experienced, driven and commercially focused Business Development Officer to grow our private-sector portfolio across cleaning supplies and commercial cleaning contracts.Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12 – compulsory
Minimum 5 years' proven experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management or B2B Sales
Own reliable vehicle – compulsory
Valid driver's licence
Traceable employment references – compulsory
Proven track record of generating leads, winning new business and developing client relationships
Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills
Ability to engage procurement teams, facilities managers, operations managers and business decision-makers
Computer literate and able to maintain an active sales pipeline
A relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related field would be advantageous
Experience within commercial cleaning, cleaning supplies, hygiene, facilities management or related B2B services will be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting new clients, arranging meetings and site assessments, identifying RFQ opportunities, securing cleaning-supply orders, pursuing commercial cleaning contracts and developing profitable recurring customer accounts.
Initial remuneration: Basic salary plus commission salary structure start-up period, plus a performance-based incentive on qualifying business.
