Our client has been operating for almost half a century and is one of the largest Multimodal Logistics operators within Africa, employing over 20 000 employees in 50 countries. They are on the serious lookout for the next superstar Business Development Manager!
Duties & Responsibilities
As their new Business Development Manager, you will
- Obtain new business clients through prospecting, client interface, proposals, estimates and achieve specified sales targets.
- Successfully implement new business obtained and continue to build relationships and service clients.
Desired Experience & Qualification
You’ll need
- A minimum of 3 years as a Business Development Manager from the Freight Forwarding industry essential
- MUST HAVE proven Clearing and Forwarding Sales experience
- Ability to read and interpret financial information, including budgets, financial statements, and P&L data
- Matric essential
