Our client, a leading organization with a focus on innovation, integrity, and results, is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to play a crucial role in growth and customer acquisition.
Duties
- Schedule and conduct new business appointments to identify potential opportunities
- Engage in cold calling to generate new sales leads
- Achieve individual sales targets through proactive client engagement
- Promote and sell the full range of supply chain products
- Establish client needs, develop tailored solutions, and expand the customer base
- Update the Salesforce system daily to ensure accurate pipeline management
- Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of corporate sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Experience working with reputable corporates
- Strong negotiation skills
- Demonstrated integrity, innovation, and results-driven mindset
Familiarity with the following is advantageous
- Supply chain and logistics industry knowledge
- CRM systems, particularly Salesforce
