Business Development Executive (Research Industry

In order to be considered the following is required

• BCom Degree in Research, Psychology, Economics or equivalent essential • Certificate in Sales, Key Account Management or equivalent • Masters in Research or Psychology or relatable field of study • At least 10 years experience in a similar role (e.g. Business Development, KAM, Sales, Management Consulting) • Proven experience in achieving sales targets and growing client base • 2-3 years managing large scale projects preferably in research, people management experience and working experience in data management or solution development • Knowledge of Research Principles • Knowledge of sales methodologies and principles • Technical expertise in sampling & research methodology • Working knowledge of SPSS or equivalent statistical software • Have a portfolio of clients • Selling and negotiation skills • Communication and presentation skills • Relationship management • Computer skills MS Office (Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint & Word) • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Project Management skills • People Management • Perform well under pressure and tight deadlines • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) • Attention to detail • Exceptional peer to peer relationships and influencing ability • Client management skills • Deadline driven • Business acumen • Wiliness to travel and work overtime if needed • Interpersonal skills • Proficiency in CRM Software **Experience within the market research, insights, data analytics or related consulting industry would be highly advantageous
