Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Intermediate to Senior Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in the development of an innovative new platform. This position requires an analytical and solutions-driven professional who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately translated into functional development specifications. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, project stakeholders, and software developers to gather requirements, analyse processes, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions that align with business objectives. Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.

• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for development teams.

• Analyse current business processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Document workflows, process maps, and business requirements clearly and accurately.

• Create and manage user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.

• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions between business and technical teams.

• Collaborate closely with developers throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Support solution design and ensure requirements are fully understood by the development team.

• Participate in testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.

• Assist in managing changes to requirements and maintaining project documentation.

• Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders during solution implementation.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within software development environments.

• Strong ability to gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.

• Experience creating user stories, workflows, process documentation, and acceptance criteria.

• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and delivery processes.

• Working knowledge of systems architecture, databases, APIs, and system integrations.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation abilities.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Advantageous Experience

• Experience within the Financial Services, FinTech, or Payments industry.

• Exposure to agile software development environments.

• Experience working on platform development, digital transformation, or systems integration projects.
