About our client: Our client is a well-established and highly regarded South African software development company that develops, supports and consults software solutions for the academic sector. With offices in Jhb and Cape Town, they are progressive with regard to their technology stack. Their solutions and services span the full range of the software development life cycle. Employees are mostly permanent and long term. They have a very low staff turnover, which is indicative of how well they are treated.

What you will be doing

  • LMS Product Ownership: Master the Learning Management System to translate academic needs into product features and roadmap strategies.
  • Write detailed backlogs and test cases in Jira/Confluence, guiding developers through complex design requirements.
  • Design test strategies for new implementations and migrations, focusing on functional integrity and user experience.
  • Lead client discovery, demos, and data migrations to ensure successful platform adoption.
  • Troubleshoot high-level support issues and analyse data trends to drive proactive product enhancements.

What our client is looking for

  • 2+ years of Business Analysis experience with formal requirements training and Agile/Scrum expertise.
  • Deep understanding of educational administration and hands-on experience with LMS or ERP solutions.
  • A strong grasp of the SDLC and business process design, specifically for custom client systems.
  • Exceptional communication, the ability to simplify complex info, and a high degree of self-management.
  • A resourceful "get things done" attitude that thrives in fast-paced, scaling environments.
