This opportunity is suited to an analytical professional who can understand business needs, translate them into clear technical requirements and work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document and validate business requirements through workshops, interviews and observation.
- Analyse current-state business processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Act as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Develop and execute test scripts and UAT plans.
- Perform end-to-end validation of new features and system changes.
- Produce process documentation, training material and handover guides.
- Support reporting and data analysis to assist business decision-making.
- Assist with system configuration, workflows and ongoing platform enhancements.
- Contribute to projects throughout the requirements, development, testing and implementation lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3–5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis and requirements engineering.
- Experience with process mapping tools such as draw.io, Visio or similar.
- Experience writing functional specifications, user stories and test scripts.
- Understanding of data flows and system integrations.
- Experience with project or workflow tools such as Jira, Zoho Projects or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Advantageous
- Exposure to CRM, ERP or e-commerce platforms such as Zoho or Shopify.
- Experience within a retail environment.
