Our client, a SaaS company, is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their team in Cape Town.
They are looking for someone with 5+ years of strong experience in requirements elicitation, solution design, business and system analysis, and requirements documentation.
This is a hybrid role (3 days in office; 2 days remote).
Duties & Responsibilities
Gather and document business requirements.
Analyse business processes and identify areas for improvement.
Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.
Work closely with Product Owners, developers and QA teams to support product delivery.
Assist with backlog management, prioritisation and sprint planning.
Develop process flows, acceptance criteria and supporting documentation.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops to clarify requirements.
Support testing activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Identify potential risks, dependencies and impacts of proposed changes.
Ensure delivered solutions align with agreed requirements and quality standards.
Desired Experience & Qualification
5+ years’ Business Analysis experience in a software development or product environment.
Relevant 3-year IT or business-related degree or diploma.
Strong experience in requirements gathering, business and system analysis, and solution design.
Experience working with Product Owners, developers and QA teams.
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Advantageous: SQL, document automation or insurance industry experience.
