Business Analyst (Delivery Lead)

Introduction

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst who can both drive high-quality analysis and take ownership of delivery by working closely with the development team. This role combines hands-on BA work — requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder engagement — with day-to-day coordination of developers to keep delivery on track across multiple concurrent workstreams in our fintech ecosystem, spanning remittance, payments, compliance, and digital banking.

Duties & Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping for complex, cross-functional projects

• Translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications for the development team

• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to align business, compliance, and technical teams

• Ensure requirements are traceable from business case through to implementation and sign-off

• Support UAT planning and execution to confirm delivered solutions meet business requirements

Delivery Leadership (Dev Team)

• Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the development team throughout delivery

• Break down requirements into clear, developer-ready tasks and user stories

• Run or support sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews) to keep the dev team aligned on priorities

• Track delivery progress against timelines, proactively identifying and resolving blockers

• Manage scope changes during delivery, ensuring impact on timelines and resourcing is understood and communicated

• Coordinate with developers on technical trade-offs, sequencing, and dependencies to keep delivery realistic

• Report on delivery status, risks, and milestones to the Head of Product Development and other stakeholders

Desired Experience & Qualification

Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to manage delivery timelines across multiple concurrent projects

• Excellent stakeholder management — able to align business, compliance, and technical audiences

• Comfortable working closely with developers, understanding technical constraints and trade-offs

• Solid grasp of BA tools and methods (BRDs, user stories, process/data flow mapping, JIRA/Confluence or similar)

• Experience running or contributing to Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retros)

• Comfortable working in a regulated environment with compliance and risk considerations

• Clear written and verbal communication, with strong documentation discipline

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including experience coordinating delivery with development teams

• Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services is strongly preferred

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery environments is essential
