Our client in Humans Dorp close to Port Elizabeth is looking for a commercially minded Business Analyst who is passionate about business improvement and technology-enabled transformation. The ideal candidate will have experience working within FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, distribution, or a similar operational environment and will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. The successful candidate does not need to have worked with every system used by the business but must demonstrate strong business analysis capabilities, a desire to understand operational processes, and the ability to drive meaningful improvement initiatives through people, process, and technology. Duties & Responsibilities
Experience as a Supply Chain-focused Business Analyst
Qualifications
A relevant degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Information Technology, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience within an FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, distribution, or similarly operational environment.
- Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
- Experience mapping and improving business processes.
- Exposure to ERP implementations, migrations, enhancements, or enterprise system projects.
- Experience facilitating workshops and working with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing and implementation activities.
Essential Knowledge & Skills
- Strong business analysis and requirements management skills.
- Sound understanding of business process analysis and process improvement methodologies.
- Good understanding of operational business processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Workshop facilitation and presentation skills.
- Ability to balance business priorities with technology considerations.
- Strong documentation and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Relevant certifications will be advantageous but are not mandatory, including:
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or CCBA.
- PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA).
- Lean Six Sigma.
- Agile Business Analysis or Scrum certification.
- PMP or PRINCE2.
