3-year National Higher Diploma / National First Degree in an ICT related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or NQF Level 5 with the equivalent credits of a National Qualification plus specialised or management certificate of competence at level 5. Related/equivalent qualification: Bachelor's and related IT Diploma, or IT Diploma or Honours with IT Specialization (NQF 6) or equivalent. 6-7 years experience in the ICT field, including IT Governance, IT Planning, systems design / procurement, and implementation of integrated solutions across multiple hardware and software platforms with management and operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation. 3-5 years experience in business analysis, business process management and business process engineering/reengineering. 3-4 years experience in business modelling. 3-4 years experience in business architecture. 2-3 years experience in integrated solution designs. Knowledge of: Corporate Governance ICT Governance and Compliance Development Methodologies Programming Languages Development, Implementation and Integration Methodologies, including Testing, Packaging and Release IT Quality Management Business Process Management General Management, including Business, Human Resource Management and General Financial Management ICT Procurement practices IT Security and ICT Standards Legislative environment and IT Legislation COTS (Commercial of the Shelf) Products OSS (Open-Source Software) Products Project Management Application Maintenance and Support Hosting and Converged Communication Enterprise architecture framework (TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF, MODAF, GWEA Framework, MIOS) Expertise of; Object Orientation Agile and Waterfall Methodologies Model Driven Architectures Distributed Architectures/Service Orientated Architectures Solution Architecture and Database Design COTS acquisition and implementation FOSS Products Planning and Organising Financial management Fraud Awareness Skills and Attributes; The final skills profile will be determined by the skill stack implied by the relevant software development department.
