Job Description

As the eLearning Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the implementation, support, enhancement, and continuous improvement of digital learning solutions.

Your responsibilities will include

• Leading software implementation, upgrade, and migration projects

• Gathering, analysing, and documenting business and client requirements

• Running discovery workshops, solution design sessions, and client engagements

• Translating business needs into functional specifications and scalable solutions

• Managing LMS implementations and configurations

• Supporting and troubleshooting client queries and support requests

• Working closely with technical teams, developers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions

• Creating test cases and conducting functional and regression testing

• Managing project risks, scope, priorities, and delivery requirements

• Facilitating sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and refinement sessions where required

• Assisting with product enhancement initiatives and solution development

• Presenting product demonstrations, webinars, and training sessions

• Maintaining documentation and ensuring adherence to established processes and standards

• Moodle

• Canvas LMS

• SaaS platforms

• APIs and systems integrations

• LTI integrations

• Jira

• Confluence

• Student Information Systems (SIS)

• Software implementation methodologies

• Business process analysis and design

• Functional specification development

• Regression and functional testing

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in eLearning Technology and/or Business Analysis

• Strong experience within the post-secondary or higher education environment

• Advanced knowledge of Moodle

• Exposure to Canvas would be advantageous

• Client-facing support and consulting experience

• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements

• Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills

• Understanding of software implementation lifecycles

• Knowledge of educational technology ecosystems

• Understanding of systems integrations, APIs, and related technologies

• Experience working within Agile delivery environments

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree or similar qualification

• Formal training in Requirements Analysis or Business Analysis
