Business Analyst

An exciting opportunity is available for a Business Analyst in the fintech industry. The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of innovative payment products by translating business needs into clear requirements and ensuring alignment between business and technical teams. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic self-starter with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Candidates relocating from Gauteng or other provinces must be actively looking to move to the Western Cape

Requirements include (but are not limited to)

• 3–5 years of similar Business Analysis experience

• Strong understanding of the payments environment, including retailers, digital payments, banking, card schemes, EFT, settlement and acquiring

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, Draw.io, Jira, Confluence and Visio

• Valid driver’s licence and own transport

• Fluent in business English, with additional languages being advantageous

• Stable employment history, with at least one year in the current role and a consistent employment record

• Translating business needs into clear functional documentation

• Documenting procedures and workflows

• Ability to support project delivery and backlog grooming within the PMO

• Ability to manage requirement changes, maintain Business Analyst documentation and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure features meet requirements
