Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a high-performing team supporting transformation initiatives across Global Markets. This role is suited to a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering with stakeholders across front, middle, and back-office teams to deliver meaningful improvements in trading, sales, and operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business transformation and process optimisation, ensuring that business needs are translated into clear functional requirements while supporting the delivery of technology-enabled solutions that enhance efficiency, compliance, and profitability.
Responsibilities
Partner with Global Markets business units to understand strategic objectives and translate them into clear business and functional requirements
Analyse, document, and optimise trading and post-trade workflows across asset classes such as FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, or Commodities
Support system enhancements and integrations across trading, risk, and pricing platforms
Collaborate with technology teams to deliver data-driven insights and automation solutions
Conduct impact assessments, data analysis, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new system releases and regulatory initiatives
Prepare detailed documentation including business requirement documents (BRDs), process maps, and business cases
Ensure all project deliverables align with compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst within Global Markets or Investment Banking
Strong understanding of the front-to-back trade lifecycle and financial products such as FX, Bonds, Derivatives, and Money Markets
Proven experience working on system implementations, process improvement, or digital transformation initiatives
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with Advanced Excel, SQL, and/or BI tools will be advantageous
